Barangay Dalangin Muslim

Situated in Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay, Barangay Dalangin Muslim is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dalangin Muslim had a population of 1,133. This made it the 20th largest of 30 barangays in Titay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dalangin Muslim accounted for approximately 2.10% of the total population of Titay, which stood at 53,994 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 779 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,133 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +45.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Dalangin Muslim is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Titay is a municipality comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dalangin Muslim, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Zamboanga Sibugay, which contains 389 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Dalangin Muslim ranks 240th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
