Barangay Kitabog

Barangay Kitabog is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Titay, located in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kitabog had a population of 4,272. This made it the 2nd largest of 30 barangays in Titay by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kitabog accounted for approximately 7.91% of the total population of Titay, which stood at 53,994 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kitabog moving from 3,822 residents to 4,272 residents, an intercensal change of +11.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Kitabog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
