Barangay Gomotoc

Barangay Gomotoc is a small barangay in the municipality of Titay, located in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Gomotoc had a population of 651. This made it the 27th largest of 30 barangays in Titay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Gomotoc accounted for approximately 1.21% of the total population of Titay, which stood at 53,994 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Gomotoc moving from 648 residents to 651 residents, an intercensal change of +0.5%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. Barangay Gomotoc is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
