Barangay Bugnay

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bugnay is one of the administrative divisions of Tuao in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bugnay had a population of 2,083. This made it the 13th largest of 32 barangays in Tuao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bugnay accounted for approximately 3.26% of the total population of Tuao, which stood at 63,970 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bugnay moving from 1,989 residents to 2,083 residents, an intercensal change of +4.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
