Barangay Culung

Barangay Culung forms part of Tuao, a municipality in Cagayan, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

This made it the 10th largest of 32 barangays in Tuao by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Culung moving from 2,130 residents to 2,183 residents, an intercensal change of +2.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Culung as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
