Barangay Cagumitan

Barangay Cagumitan is a small barangay in the municipality of Tuao, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cagumitan had a population of 1,659. This made it the 19th largest of 32 barangays in Tuao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cagumitan accounted for approximately 2.59% of the total population of Tuao, which stood at 63,970 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cagumitan moving from 1,735 residents to 1,659 residents, an intercensal change of -4.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
