Barangay Lakambini

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Lakambini is one of the administrative divisions of Tuao in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lakambini had a population of 1,085. This made it the 26th largest of 32 barangays in Tuao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lakambini accounted for approximately 1.70% of the total population of Tuao, which stood at 63,970 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lakambini changed from 1,065 to 1,085, a shift of +1.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Tuao. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lakambini as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
