Barangay Paraiso

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Paraiso is one of the administrative divisions of Tulunan in Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Paraiso had a population of 703. This made it the 26th largest of 29 barangays in Tulunan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paraiso accounted for approximately 1.15% of the total population of Tulunan, which stood at 60,978 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Paraiso changed from 761 to 703, a shift of -7.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Tulunan. Barangay Paraiso is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tulunan is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Paraiso, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cotabato, which contains 543 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Paraiso ranks 470th by 2020 population.
