Situated in Tulunan, Cotabato, Barangay Poblacion is one of 29 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 7,005. This made it the 1st largest of 29 barangays in Tulunan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 11.49% of the total population of Tulunan, which stood at 60,978 in the same census year.
