Barangay Popoyon

Barangay Popoyon is a small barangay in the municipality of Tulunan, located in the province of Cotabato, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Popoyon had a population of 1,313. This made it the 18th largest of 29 barangays in Tulunan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Popoyon accounted for approximately 2.15% of the total population of Tulunan, which stood at 60,978 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Popoyon moving from 1,265 residents to 1,313 residents, an intercensal change of +3.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
