Barangay Canlusong

Barangay Canlusong is a small barangay in the municipality of Valencia, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Canlusong had a population of 1,121. This made it the 5th largest of 35 barangays in Valencia by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Canlusong accounted for approximately 3.95% of the total population of Valencia, which stood at 28,392 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Canlusong moving from 1,067 residents to 1,121 residents, an intercensal change of +5.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Canlusong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
