Barangay Careb

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Careb is one of the administrative divisions of Bagabag in Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Careb had a population of 2,302. This made it the 7th largest of 17 barangays in Bagabag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Careb accounted for approximately 6.06% of the total population of Bagabag, which stood at 37,985 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Careb moving from 2,241 residents to 2,302 residents, an intercensal change of +2.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Careb is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
