Barangay Paniki

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Paniki is one of the administrative divisions of Bagabag in Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Paniki had a population of 1,980. This made it the 10th largest of 17 barangays in Bagabag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paniki accounted for approximately 5.21% of the total population of Bagabag, which stood at 37,985 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Paniki moving from 1,858 residents to 1,980 residents, an intercensal change of +6.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Paniki as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bagabag is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Paniki, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Vizcaya, which contains 275 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Paniki ranks 90th by 2020 population.
