Barangay Quirino (Pob.)

Situated in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya, Barangay Quirino (Pob.) is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Quirino (Pob.) had a population of 1,307. This made it the 15th largest of 17 barangays in Bagabag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Quirino (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.44% of the total population of Bagabag, which stood at 37,985 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,526 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,307 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -14.4%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Quirino (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bagabag is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Quirino (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Vizcaya, which contains 275 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Quirino (Pob.) ranks 154th by 2020 population.
