Barangay Baliwagan

Situated in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, Barangay Baliwagan is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Baliwagan had a population of 3,768. This made it the 6th largest of 30 barangays in Balingasag by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Baliwagan accounted for approximately 5.07% of the total population of Balingasag, which stood at 74,385 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Baliwagan moving from 3,544 residents to 3,768 residents, an intercensal change of +6.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
