Barangay Mandangoa

Situated in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, Barangay Mandangoa is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

This made it the 3rd largest of 30 barangays in Balingasag by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mandangoa changed from 3,975 to 4,356, a shift of +9.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Balingasag. Barangay Mandangoa is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Balingasag is a municipality comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mandangoa, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
