Barangay Salogon

Situated in Brooke's Point, Palawan, Barangay Salogon is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Salogon had a population of 4,270. This made it the 6th largest of 18 barangays in Brooke's Point by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Salogon accounted for approximately 5.77% of the total population of Brooke's Point, which stood at 73,994 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,623 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,270 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +17.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Salogon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Brooke's Point is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Salogon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Palawan, which contains 433 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Salogon ranks 59th by 2020 population.
