Barangay Panoypoyan

Situated in Bula, Camarines Sur, Barangay Panoypoyan is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Panoypoyan had a population of 2,339. This made it the 11th largest of 33 barangays in Bula by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Panoypoyan accounted for approximately 3.20% of the total population of Bula, which stood at 73,143 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Panoypoyan changed from 2,029 to 2,339, a shift of +15.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Bula. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Panoypoyan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bula is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Panoypoyan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
