Barangay Gulod

Barangay Gulod is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Calatagan, located in the province of Batangas, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Gulod had a population of 3,150. This made it the 9th largest of 25 barangays in Calatagan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Gulod accounted for approximately 5.36% of the total population of Calatagan, which stood at 58,719 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Gulod moving from 3,127 residents to 3,150 residents, an intercensal change of +0.7%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. Barangay Gulod is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
