Situated in Calatagan, Batangas, Barangay Paraiso is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

This made it the 20th largest of 25 barangays in Calatagan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paraiso accounted for approximately 2.36% of the total population of Calatagan, which stood at 58,719 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,346 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,385 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Paraiso is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
