Situated in Calatagan, Batangas, Barangay Talibayog is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Talibayog had a population of 969. This made it the 22nd largest of 25 barangays in Calatagan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talibayog accounted for approximately 1.65% of the total population of Calatagan, which stood at 58,719 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Talibayog changed from 1,980 to 969, a shift of -51.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Calatagan. Barangay Talibayog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
