Barangay Pahinga Norte

Classified as a very large barangay, Barangay Pahinga Norte is one of the administrative divisions of Candelaria in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pahinga Norte had a population of 16,237. This made it the 1st largest of 25 barangays in Candelaria by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pahinga Norte accounted for approximately 11.78% of the total population of Candelaria, which stood at 137,881 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pahinga Norte changed from 13,530 to 16,237, a shift of +20.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Candelaria. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pahinga Norte as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Candelaria is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pahinga Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Quezon, which contains 1,242 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pahinga Norte ranks 1st by 2020 population.
