Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a large barangay in the municipality of Candelaria, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 5,339. This made it the 13th largest of 25 barangays in Candelaria by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 3.87% of the total population of Candelaria, which stood at 137,881 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Isidro changed from 4,222 to 5,339, a shift of +26.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Candelaria. Barangay San Isidro is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Candelaria is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Quezon, which contains 1,242 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Isidro ranks 58th by 2020 population.
