Barangay San Roque

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Roque is one of the administrative divisions of City of Kidapawan in Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Roque had a population of 1,061. This made it the 39th largest of 40 barangays in City of Kidapawan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay San Roque accounted for approximately 0.66% of the total population of City of Kidapawan, which stood at 160,791 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,129 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,061 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -6.0%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay San Roque is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Kidapawan is a city comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Roque, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
