Barangay Mabanogbog

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Mabanogbog is one of the administrative divisions of City of Urdaneta in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mabanogbog had a population of 3,470. This made it the 19th largest of 34 barangays in City of Urdaneta by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Mabanogbog accounted for approximately 2.40% of the total population of City of Urdaneta, which stood at 144,577 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,349 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,470 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mabanogbog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Urdaneta is a city comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mabanogbog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
