Barangay Nancamaliran East

Barangay Nancamaliran East is a large barangay in the city of City of Urdaneta, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nancamaliran East had a population of 5,542. This made it the 12th largest of 34 barangays in City of Urdaneta by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Nancamaliran East accounted for approximately 3.83% of the total population of City of Urdaneta, which stood at 144,577 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,882 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,542 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nancamaliran East as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Urdaneta is a city comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nancamaliran East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Nancamaliran East ranks 63rd by 2020 population.
