Barangay Banuang Daan

Barangay Banuang Daan is a small barangay in the municipality of Coron, located in the province of Palawan, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Banuang Daan had a population of 1,131. This made it the 21st largest of 23 barangays in Coron by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Banuang Daan accounted for approximately 1.72% of the total population of Coron, which stood at 65,855 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Banuang Daan moving from 907 residents to 1,131 residents, an intercensal change of +24.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Banuang Daan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
