Barangay V (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay V (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Coron in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay V (Pob.) had a population of 4,275. This made it the 5th largest of 23 barangays in Coron by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay V (Pob.) accounted for approximately 6.49% of the total population of Coron, which stood at 65,855 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,903 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,275 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay V (Pob.) is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Coron is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay V (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Palawan, which contains 433 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay V (Pob.) ranks 57th by 2020 population.
