Barangay Borac

Barangay Borac forms part of Coron, a municipality in Palawan, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Borac had a population of 2,799. This made it the 11th largest of 23 barangays in Coron by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Borac accounted for approximately 4.25% of the total population of Coron, which stood at 65,855 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Borac moving from 2,491 residents to 2,799 residents, an intercensal change of +12.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Borac as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
