Barangay Puruganan (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Puruganan (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Dingras in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Puruganan (Pob.) had a population of 868. This made it the 23rd largest of 31 barangays in Dingras by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Puruganan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of Dingras, which stood at 40,127 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Puruganan (Pob.) changed from 880 to 868, a shift of -1.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Dingras. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Puruganan (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
