Barangay Saludares

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Saludares is one of the administrative divisions of Dingras in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Saludares had a population of 1,473. This made it the 9th largest of 31 barangays in Dingras by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Saludares accounted for approximately 3.67% of the total population of Dingras, which stood at 40,127 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Saludares moving from 1,469 residents to 1,473 residents, an intercensal change of +0.3%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Saludares as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dingras is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Saludares, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
