Barangay Ver

Barangay Ver is a small barangay in the municipality of Dingras, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Ver had a population of 1,223. This made it the 14th largest of 31 barangays in Dingras by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ver accounted for approximately 3.05% of the total population of Dingras, which stood at 40,127 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ver moving from 1,175 residents to 1,223 residents, an intercensal change of +4.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Ver as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dingras is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ver, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
