Barangay Biaknabato

Barangay Biaknabato is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of La Castellana, located in the province of Negros Occidental, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Biaknabato had a population of 4,113. This made it the 8th largest of 13 barangays in La Castellana by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Biaknabato accounted for approximately 5.17% of the total population of La Castellana, which stood at 79,492 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Biaknabato changed from 3,342 to 4,113, a shift of +23.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in La Castellana.
