Barangay Overview

Barangay Overview is a small barangay in the municipality of Liloy, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Norte, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Overview had a population of 793. This made it the 22nd largest of 37 barangays in Liloy by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Overview accounted for approximately 1.88% of the total population of Liloy, which stood at 42,213 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Overview moving from 865 residents to 793 residents, an intercensal change of -8.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Overview is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Liloy is a municipality comprising 37 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Overview, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
