Barangay Villa M. Tejero

Barangay Villa M. Tejero forms part of Liloy, a municipality in Zamboanga Del Norte, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Villa M. Tejero had a population of 1,425. This made it the 6th largest of 37 barangays in Liloy by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Villa M. Tejero accounted for approximately 3.38% of the total population of Liloy, which stood at 42,213 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,260 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,425 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Villa M. Tejero as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Liloy is a municipality comprising 37 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Villa M.
