Barangay San Julian (Pob.)

Barangay San Julian (Pob.) is a very small barangay in the municipality of Magsingal, located in the province of Ilocos Sur, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Julian (Pob.) had a population of 488. This made it the 28th largest of 30 barangays in Magsingal by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Julian (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.56% of the total population of Magsingal, which stood at 31,308 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Julian (Pob.) changed from 556 to 488, a shift of -12.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Magsingal. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Julian (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
