Barangay Datal Bila

Barangay Datal Bila is a small barangay in the municipality of Malungon, located in the province of Sarangani, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Datal Bila had a population of 885. This made it the 30th largest of 31 barangays in Malungon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Datal Bila accounted for approximately 0.84% of the total population of Malungon, which stood at 105,465 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Datal Bila moving from 1,249 residents to 885 residents, an intercensal change of -29.1%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Datal Bila as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
