Barangay Lipay Sur

Barangay Lipay Sur is a small barangay in the municipality of San Gabriel, located in the province of La Union, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lipay Sur had a population of 997. This made it the 6th largest of 15 barangays in San Gabriel by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lipay Sur accounted for approximately 5.26% of the total population of San Gabriel, which stood at 18,943 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lipay Sur changed from 821 to 997, a shift of +21.4% over the five-year period.
