Barangay Guinayang

Situated in San Mateo, Rizal, Barangay Guinayang is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Guinayang changed from 9,241 to 9,871, a shift of +6.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Mateo. Barangay Guinayang is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Mateo is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Guinayang, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
