Barangay Santa Ana

Barangay Santa Ana is a large barangay in the municipality of San Mateo, located in the province of Rizal, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Ana had a population of 10,862. This made it the 11th largest of 15 barangays in San Mateo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Ana accounted for approximately 3.97% of the total population of San Mateo, which stood at 273,306 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santa Ana moving from 10,160 residents to 10,862 residents, an intercensal change of +6.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Santa Ana is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
