Barangay Maly

Situated in San Mateo, Rizal, Barangay Maly is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Maly had a population of 14,612. This made it the 6th largest of 15 barangays in San Mateo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maly accounted for approximately 5.35% of the total population of San Mateo, which stood at 273,306 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maly moving from 13,865 residents to 14,612 residents, an intercensal change of +5.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Maly as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
