Barangay Dale

Situated in San Roque, Northern Samar, Barangay Dale is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dale had a population of 1,836. This made it the 6th largest of 16 barangays in San Roque by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dale accounted for approximately 6.14% of the total population of San Roque, which stood at 29,882 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dale changed from 1,549 to 1,836, a shift of +18.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Roque. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dale as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Roque is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dale, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Northern Samar, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Dale ranks 89th by 2020 population.
