Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.)

Situated in San Roque, Northern Samar, Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) had a population of 982. This made it the 13th largest of 16 barangays in San Roque by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.29% of the total population of San Roque, which stood at 29,882 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) changed from 1,134 to 982, a shift of -13.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in San Roque. Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Roque is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Zone 2 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
