Barangay Kittag

Situated in Sanchez-Mira, Cagayan, Barangay Kittag is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

This made it the 17th largest of 18 barangays in Sanchez-Mira by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kittag accounted for approximately 1.27% of the total population of Sanchez-Mira, which stood at 26,164 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Kittag changed from 247 to 332, a shift of +34.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Sanchez-Mira. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Kittag as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
