Barangay Nagrangtayan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Nagrangtayan is one of the administrative divisions of Sanchez-Mira in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nagrangtayan had a population of 876. This made it the 13th largest of 18 barangays in Sanchez-Mira by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagrangtayan accounted for approximately 3.35% of the total population of Sanchez-Mira, which stood at 26,164 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Nagrangtayan changed from 798 to 876, a shift of +9.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Sanchez-Mira. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nagrangtayan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
