Barangay San Isidro Alto

Situated in Sinacaban, Misamis Occidental, Barangay San Isidro Alto is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro Alto had a population of 387. This made it the 16th largest of 17 barangays in Sinacaban by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro Alto accounted for approximately 1.97% of the total population of Sinacaban, which stood at 19,671 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 353 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 387 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro Alto as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sinacaban is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro Alto, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
