Barangay San Isidro Bajo

Barangay San Isidro Bajo is a small barangay in the municipality of Sinacaban, located in the province of Misamis Occidental, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Isidro Bajo had a population of 537. This made it the 15th largest of 17 barangays in Sinacaban by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro Bajo accounted for approximately 2.73% of the total population of Sinacaban, which stood at 19,671 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 492 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 537 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Isidro Bajo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sinacaban is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro Bajo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
