Barangay Tugop Muslim

Barangay Tugop Muslim forms part of Titay, a municipality in Zamboanga Sibugay, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tugop Muslim had a population of 528. This made it the 30th largest of 30 barangays in Titay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tugop Muslim accounted for approximately 0.98% of the total population of Titay, which stood at 53,994 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 516 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 528 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Tugop Muslim is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Titay is a municipality comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tugop Muslim, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Zamboanga Sibugay, which contains 389 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Tugop Muslim ranks 360th by 2020 population.
