Barangay Del Carmen Este (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Del Carmen Este (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Balilihan in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Carmen Este (Pob.) had a population of 834. This made it the 4th largest of 31 barangays in Balilihan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Carmen Este (Pob.) accounted for approximately 4.46% of the total population of Balilihan, which stood at 18,694 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 669 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 834 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +24.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Del Carmen Este (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Balilihan is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Carmen Este (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
