Barangay Haguilanan Grande

Barangay Haguilanan Grande is a small barangay in the municipality of Balilihan, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Haguilanan Grande had a population of 694. This made it the 9th largest of 31 barangays in Balilihan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Haguilanan Grande accounted for approximately 3.71% of the total population of Balilihan, which stood at 18,694 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 686 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 694 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.2%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Haguilanan Grande is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Balilihan is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Haguilanan Grande, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bohol, which contains 1,109 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Haguilanan Grande ranks 764th by 2020 population.
